Marriott Hotels entered into a multi-dimensional partnership with TED, which included a Marriott presence at the Vancouver Convention Center during the 2017 TED Conference.
We immersed attendees in the common theme that makes Marriott and TED natural partners: Both inspire new perspectives and personal transformation – Marriott through travel and TED through its talks, conferences and content.
We created The Post Up by Marriott - a future-leaning oasis where attendees could tell stories about how the places they’ve been changed who they are, and led to inspiring others to share in the insights they’ve gleaned through travel, through virtual postcards.
The space was anchored by two related, visually impactful centerpieces: The Globe — a massive LED sphere featuring dynamic images of the rotating Earth, and The Postcard Screens — four LED displays suspended in midair, featuring inspiring travel imagery, messages from attendees about their travel experiences, and more.
